Group C overview
Group C contains arguably the highest-profile opening rematch of the tournament. Brazil — under new head coach Carlo Ancelotti, appointed in summer 2025 — face Morocco, who reached the 2022 World Cup semi-finals as the first African nation ever to do so and remain a serious tactical proposition under Walid Regragui.
Haiti and Scotland complete the group, both ending long World Cup absences. Haiti's only previous appearance was 1974. Scotland qualified for their first World Cup since 1998 under Steve Clarke after a remarkable McTominay-led playoff run. Their late-night opener at MetLife Stadium on 13 June will be Haiti's first World Cup match in 52 years.
Brazil are 9.0 to win the trophy outright and 1.40 to win the group. Morocco at 51.0 outright are widely backed for a deep run again. Scotland and Haiti as competitive group fillers.

Standings outlook & knockout path
Most likely winner: Brazil (priced around 1.40). Ancelotti's possession-control football combined with Vinícius Jr/Rodrygo/Raphinha attacking trio should produce the highest goal-difference in the group.
Most likely runner-up: Morocco. The 2022 semi-finalists retain the spine of Hakimi, Saïss, Amrabat, Hakim Ziyech and Ounahi. The most credible African contender for a deep tournament run.
Best longshot for second: Scotland. Clarke's defensive structure plus Andrew Robertson and Scott McTominay give them an outsider's chance.
Haiti third or fourth. Sébastien Migné's side will be competitive but lacks the squad depth for points against the top three.
